SCHOOL GATE
The school has a main entrance gate and a service
gate. It is functional: sturdy, in good condition, and
can be locked effectively to ensure safety and ideal
for fire and emergency safety.
No pointed, sharp, or spiked tops, which could be
dangerous to pupils/students.
It has good visual impact.
SCHOOL FENCE
The school has a good strong fence built around a
school site to secure the school against stray
animals and against illegal settlers.
It is painted & clean.
It adds attractiveness to the entirety of the campus.
FLAGPOLE
With display of the Philippine National Flag as a
requirement for all schools.
Raised flag is in good condition.
It contributes to the effectiveness of the school’s
visual zone. It occupies a prominent place in front
of the main building in the assembly area and
higher than the building.
SIGNBOARD
The signboard is displayed prominently on the
façade or in front of the main building with name
and location in Filipino or English.
The lettering is simple, block or Roman style. It is
done in black or dark-blue against off-white
background visible at a distance from ten to twenty
(10m-20m)
PLANTING PLANT
School front area is beautified with ornamental
plants indigenous to the locality.
It contributes conduciveness in the outside
appearance of the school.
It has good visual effect. Plants are planted
geometrically, symmetrically and aesthetically.
