Some people think that spending money on space exploration is a waste of it, but that is not my

chase. I completely disagree with this idea because I think there is where the future of mankind is.
It is why our civilization has always looked up and asked: "what is there?". These questions have
made us develop technologies that seem to have no sense now but, maybe in the future, there
might be the only option for us to keep mankind alive.

One of the important points I want to touch is space exploration might be the only choice mankind
would have to keep ourselves alive. Nowadays we have noticed global warming is getting worst,
and it seems there is no option for our planet. So, if we just see our current reality, we might think
space exploration makes no sense, but if you are like me you can see that this is the only option to
keep mankind alive. Let's figure out our lives in 50 years when the lack of water is increasing and
there is no other option than just wait for our die. This might be our future if we do not invest in
space exploration. But in space exploration, we saw a light, maybe we can do nothing for our
planet but, we can do something for mankind and it is to move us to another planet. It would be
possible according to Elon Musk's plans who want to take us to Mars.

Another great point to still investing in space exploration is our nowadays and future technology.
All of our daily gadgets are direct or indirect relation with space exploration some of these things
were used first in our goal to touch the sky. The human being has always tried to see what is over
our heads since there we had developed all the technology to reach our dreams, thanks to that we
can now fly to another country or use GPS to know where we are. This does not finish here there
are technologies being developed right now to make our lives more comfortable. Some of them
are smaller processors for our computers, phones, and even in our TVs, better cameras technology
to keep better our memories and modem equipment for surgery. We are all surrounded by things
that meant to astronauts and we use them daily.

To summarize, space exploration has been a dream since I was a child, and when then I asked
myself the same question why people are spending that much money instead of using this to help
nowadays problems. Years later I realize this might be the only option for the human being. And
that ambition of mankind to see what is there in the space have made us develop too many useful
technologies that are helping us in our daily lives.
