3. Drill Bit Sharp edges • Make sure drill is off before commencing bit changes L3 WHS Procedure: Plant,

shank as it can. Do not allow the chuck to grab the fluted part WHS Procedure –

• Tighten the chuck with the chuck key using any of the three
key locations.
• Remove the key chuck
• Reverse steps to remove drill bit.

• Machine must be isolated when guards are removed
• Never attempt to repair a damaged piece of equipment.
• Refer to operating manual for maintenance requirements
• Report any obvious damage of machine to team lead

• If machine is to be out of service for a period of time, Place a
Yellow OUT OF SERVICE tags on the machine. This tag can be
removed by the person who placed the tag or by another
authorised person
