II. PROGRAM/ ACTIVITY DETAILS

Introduction/ Gender equality is central to United Nations values. The equality of men and women has been one
Rationale of the most fundamental guarantees of human rights, and a fundamental principle of the United
Nations Charter adopted by world leaders in 1945 is "equal rights of men and women," and
protecting and promoting women's human rights is the responsibility of all States.

With this, the Barkada Kontra-Droga of Villa Perez National High School conducts seminar and
workshop to the parents and learners for them to understand equality among men and women on
May 12-13, 2023 at VPNHS Covered Court.

Activity Objectives a. Discuss history, goals, and objectives of MOVE among the stakeholders including the
learners and parents.
b. Discuss the Basic Concepts of GAD
c. Discuss the Safe Space Act
d. Launch the MACHETE Jr for all boys of Villa Perez National High School
