1.Aims: Help ss review the use of verb forms and kinds of sentence
2. Method: Communicative approach and Learner-cantered approach.

A.Verb form:
1. Gerund (V-ing)
- Sau giíi tõ ta dïng V-ing.
- Sau nh÷ng ®éng tõ/côm tõ nh: avoid (tr¸nh), have trouble (gÆp khã kh¨n), practise (thùc hµnh),
consider (xem xÐt, tÝnh ®Õn), miss (nhí/bá lì), enjoy (thÝch, thëng thøc), mind (phiÒn), suggest (®Ò
nghÞ), go on (tiÕp tôc), prefer … to (thÝch h¬n), keep (gi÷), like (thÝch), feel like (c¶m gi¸c nh), stop
(dõng), it’s no use (kh«ng lîi Ých g×), mind, would you mind, …
2. V + to V : expect (kú väng, tr«ng ®îi),plan (dù ®Þnh),decide (quyÕt ®Þnh), hope (hi väng), threaten (®e
do¹), agree (®ång ý), promise (høa), forget (quªn), try (cè g¾ng), like (muèn)...
* Lu ý:
- stop + V-ing: dõng hµnh ®éng ®ang lµm stop + to V: dõng l¹i ®Ó lµm viÖc kh¸c
Stop making noise, please! She stopped to talk to him.
- try + V-ing: thö lµm viÖc g× try + to V: cè g¾ng lµm viÖc g×
He tries writing with his left hand. We try to get high marks.

3. V + O + to V
advise (khuyên ) , allow ( cho phép ), ask ( yêu cầu ), encourage ( khuyến khích ) , expect ( mong đợi )
Note :
* Một số động từ chỉ tri giác theo sau là động từ nguyên mẫu hoặc V-ING ( nếu đang xảy ra )

* Các nhóm từ hoặc động từ theo sau là động từ nguyên mẫu :
- nothing but ( không gì …nhưng chỉ ) - would rather ( thích ….hơn )
Ex : We would rather work than play
- cannot but ( không còn cách nào hơn là ) - Had better ( nên …..thì hơn )
Ex : You had better work
- Let / help / make / have + S.O + V- ( bare infinitive )
Ex : - My father let me drive his car
- He helped me wash my car
- I made my brother carry my suitcase.
- I got my brother to carry my suitcase .
- I had my brother carry my suitcase .
I had my suitcase carried by my brother
B: Adjectives : surprise at , bored with, excited about, interested in
C: Wh questions:

D : Article :
Dung mao tu The : Khi danh từ đó đã đựoc xác định ( danh từ có bổ túc từ là một danh từ khác, danh từ ấy
được nói đến trước, chỉ vật độc nhất,chỉ các dụng cụ âm nhạc )
Không dùng mại từ : Danh từ cụ thể số nhiều, danh từ chỉ các môn thể thao, bữa ăn, đồ uống các ngày trong
tuần )

Exercise : Use to/ in order to / so as not to + infinitive to combine each pair of sentences
