REPORT SUMMARY

I. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ACTIVITY:

MLGOO Babaan served as speaker during the afternoon of Day 2 (June 2, 2023). She discussed the
practical tips and strategies barangay audits. She also discussed that the Barnagay undertakes
annual audit in the different thematic areas of barangay governance to scale up its performance
and practices of good governance of the respective Barangay Based Institutions (BBIs) that accord
primacy to the principle of accountability, transparency performance and effectiveness. The
following audits are stapled the annual calendar of barangays:
She also discussed the Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangays. She explained all indicators
and gave example of the MOVs to be presented.
