ANTONYNS!
In this game, I will group you into 4
groups. I will show you a pictures with a
pair of words and you are going to
identify if these pair of words are
antonyms or synonyms. The first group
that will raise their hand will be the one
to answer. The group that will have the
highest point will get a prize.

are synonyms. Set B, meanwhile, lists
words with opposite meanings. They are
antonyms.

SYNONYMS AND ANTONYMS


Synonym refers to a word that has the
same or nearly the same meaning with
other word/s. It is the same or similar to
the given word.
Examples
circle – round
neat – clean/ tidy
intelligent – smart
Aside from these examples, can you give

another word. It has an opposite
meaning with the given word.
