Letter - printed communication,
especially one sent in an
envelope by mail or
messenger.
Another example is read and
read. They have the same
spelling but with different
pronunciation and meanings.
Read means you are instructed
to read.
Read is the past tense of read.
Another is right and right.

Direction: I will divide you all


into two groups, and all you
have to do is pick one person
to represent your group. I will
give each representative a pair
of homographs and those
representatives should keep
their homographs secret from
their peers or group mates.
Representatives will plan how
they can act out two different
meanings of the word.

Whoever group gets 5 points


will be announced as the
winner.

Direction: Each group writes a
short story. The story must use
different homographs (at least
8 pairs of homographs) and
underline the homographs in
the story.
