B. Dimensions,Elevations and Stations
PROJECT
1. All Dimensions are in millimeters unless otherwise specified.
2. All Stations are in km + meter and elevations in meters. BILLBOARD

C. CIVIL WORKS
1. Structure Excavation
a. Depth of Excavation shall be specified in the drawings.
b. Post Excavation surface shall be compacted to the required degree as
specified in the plans.
2. Material Requirement
A. Aggregate Sub-base & Base Course
This item shall consist of furnishing, placing and compacting an aggregate SUMMARY OF QUANTITIES
base course on a prepared subgrade / subbase in accordance with this
specification and the lines,grades and cross-section shown on the plans,
or as directed by the engineer.

B. Surface Courses
a. Bit. Tack Coat
Bit. Material shall be either Rapid Curing (RC) Cut-back or Emulsified PROJECT BILLBOARD
Asphalt. The rate of application of either the Rapid Curing Cut-back or the
Emulsified asphalt shall be within the range 0.20 to 0.70 litre/sq.m., the exact SCALE : NTS
rate as determined by the engineer.
b. Bit. Surface
This work shall consist of constructing one or more bituminous bound layers
on a prepared foundation in accordance with the specification and the
specific requirements tf the type under contract, and in reasonably close
conformity with the lines, grades, thickness, and typical cross-sections shown
on Plan within the tolerances spicefied or established by the engineer.
c. PCCP
this item shall consist of pavement of Portland Cement Concrete, with or
without reinforcement, on the prepared base in accordance with this
Specification and in conformity with the lines, grades, thickness, and typical
cross-sections shown on Plan.
C. Manholes ,Inlet and Catch Basins
Concrete for these structure shall meet the requirements of item 405,
structure concrete. other materials shall meet the following specifications :
a.Frames, Gratings ,Covers and ladder Rungs - Metal units shall conform to
the plan dimension and the following specification requirements for the
designated materials
b. Metal gratings and covers which are to rest on frames shall bear on
them evenly, they shall be assembled before shipment and so marked that
the same position when installed, inaccuracy of bearings shall be corrected
by matching, if necessary. A frame and grating or cover to be used with
t shall constitute one pair.
