1.0 GENERAL

This Method statement purposeful to rectify the damaged or under cast piles.

This under casting has identified during the visual inspections.

2.0 MATERIALS

Water
Rebar
Steel Casing (shuttering for built-up pile)

3.0 METHODOLOGY

 Firstly, pile top will be cleaned.

 Excavation up to required level will be done by stepwise if required

 Concrete will be hacked up to a hard concrete level. (Joint inspection will be done for
confirmation)

 Surface of the pile will be cleaned with water and pressurized air.

 Casing will be installed (checking the center of the pile and verticality of the casing)

 Concrete will pour up to cut off level.

 Casing will remove after hardening of concrete.
