1. Scope :
This method statement describes the procedure and inspection instauration
to be followed during the application of grouting work at top of the columns
of following major activities in ACC at project site:

ii. D – Shackle
iii. Carrying bucket
iv. Single pulley
v. Wire rope sling
vi. PP Rope
i) Guide rope

3. SHIFTING OF CEMENT TO STORE &

From store yard to erection site

a) Cement should store in dry area

b) Proper hand gloves, mask should be use
c) MSDS should be displayed in found of the store
d) Washing water should be arranged in store area
e) Properly display the cement store .

a) Proper PP rope should be use 25/19 mm
b) In one PP rope only 2 buckets allowed
c) In buckets only 70 % /7 litre should allow to carry lifting is intended to be
equality distance distributed between 2 buckets
d) Workmen will go up and reach at the location through column, life line should
be use for moving from one column to another.
e) Single pulley is used for the lifting purpose
f) Retractable fall arrestors as a secondary protection will be ensured for
support
g) Area should be barricaded
h) Concrete surface should be clean , loose particles and dust should be removed

i) Weather conation like heavy wind, rain and snow, is not allowed

5. SAFETY MEASURES:

a. Specific safety measures:

I. When mixed with water, release alkalis that could be harmful to the
skin
II. Wear protective hand, eyes and respiratory system and avoid
berating of the dust of cement
III. Splashes on the skin should be washed away by cleaning with soap
and water
IV. Cement dust, in case of contact with eyes wash thoroughly with
clean cold water
V. If cement dust swallowed, do not induce vomiting in both cases seek
medical attention
VI. Walky talky should be use for better communication
VII. Proper supervision and co-ordination shall be engaged in the work
VIII. Competent person should be engaged in this job
IX. Minimum persons should be engaged

b. General Safety measures:

i. Permit should be available in job
ii. Proper training should be done before the job
iii. validity of documents of cranes and lifting accessories.
iv. Job area should be Barricading
v. All persons should wear required PPEs.
vi. Retractable fall block arrester tagged with lifeline, only one retractable
fall block arrester tagged at a time in lifeline.
vii. Minimum persons should be engaged for lifting.
viii. Competent person should be engaged in the job
ix. Good Housekeeping is a part of the safe work procedure to be
maintaining. Slipping, tripping and other hazards.
x. Pick and bundle and wooden boxes, wooden supports, scraps material
and plastic others combustible material will remove in case of fire
incident collect and send to scrap yard.
xi. Clean properly crane/ equipment and machine and surrounding area
after use.
xii. Return all hand tools / wire rope/ PP rope to store
