I Lesson

Verbs
                - a word used to describe an action, state, or occurrence and
forming the main part of the predicate of a sentence such as hear, become,
and happen.

III. Objective: At the end of the discussion the student can determine what
are the different types and uses of the verb.

IV. Pre-test:
   Write the correct forms of the verb to complete the sentences.
                                    (Is, Are and Am)

V. Review:
What are the different kinds of nouns?
Is a part of speech that is used to name or identify a person, place , thing or
idea.
Pronoun-is the word that is used instead of a noun or a noun phrase.
Common pronouns he, are, she, you I and me.

We can use verbs in a sentence. A sentence is a group of words that tells us
an idea.
Some verbs need an object.
