Title: Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Seminar on Leadership amidst Pandemic with the
Coordination of Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council
Date: January 26, 2022

I. Rationale:
Even before pandemic and PRRD was elected as the Philippine President,
Dangerous Drug Board and the Department of Education have strengthened the drug awareness
program. National Drug Education Program is the primary approach among non-users especially
among students.
In connection a peer group was organized to lessen drug related problems
not just in school but also in the community. Hence , the need to mobilize the Barkada Kontra
Droga in school and in the community.
Moreover technical assistance is of prime concern to student leaders on BKD and
This is the reason why BKD seminar is laid for in order to advocate and train students a healthy
and productive drug-free lifestyle.
II. Objectives:
1. To orient a Barkada Kontra Droga movement
2. To orient and train the students in advocating a healthy and productive drug-free
lifestyle.
3. To encourage productive use of time and alternative activities
4. To provide support services towards the adoption of BKD concepts among
students.
