I started seeing my goals with more timeline oriented and specific details

Honestly looking at the situation as it is, allows us to make better decisions

edging how we 'actually' are feeling. Honesty would be more like: 'I'm feeling guilty be-
cause I have a distorting belief that it is not possible to spend more with my family with-
out compromising my career. ' Once we are honest with ourselves the choices become
clear: 'Therefore I can either challenge that belief and figure out ways I can do both, or
if I decide that belief is grounded decide to spend more time with parents at the cost of
my career because that's more important to me or spend more time on my career than
with my parents because that is more important to me. Or I could continue spending
more time on my career because that is actually more important to me while expressing
helplessness and guilt about the choice so that I send a message to my parents that they
