1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Nowadays, the number of traders in our country is increasing. regardless of small


traders or large traders, this is increasing because the number of living standards is
increasing, and our country's economy is not very stable. So, the people of our country
need to take other initiatives by doing business. For example, an individual has another
job, but the cost of living is very high so one takes the initiative to do business in his own
way.

Trading has many types. Among them, online. Doing business online is the easiest way
nowadays, this is because merchants can save more costs than merchants who have a
store. Doing business online can save more time because just sitting at home does not
need to move much.

in addition, there are many types of products that can be sold by traders. Among the
products that are always heard are snacks, clothes, home decorations, women's
makeup, workshop equipment and so on. These products are easily available and easy
to sell because these products are for human daily use and our daily equipment.

2.0 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION (BEFORE ACTIVITY)

With this I have chosen Extra Joss as my sales product. Extra Joss is an energy drink in
powder form that originated from Indonesia and became famous in Malaysia in 2015.
Extra Joss is an energy drink that is loved by young people. I chose this Extra Joss
because I know many of these young people want to buy and taste its feel energy when
to do sport. The location I sell is around UiTM college Sri Iskandar, Perak and I make
cash on delivery (COD) service. For my college, the residents of Cemara A and Cemara
B college will be given free COD, but for other colleges I will charge RM1 as COD.

3.0 THE REASON I CHOOSE THIS PRODUCT FOR SALE

The reason I chose this product was because I wanted to make it easier for university
students to find energy drink and faster. Extra Joss is an easy to drink because it only
uses water 500ml for 1 packet. It can also save time because you only put powder
packet in water and drink. Not need put sugar or sweet because that product already
good for energy body.

3.1 MY CUSTOMERS

My entire clientele is a university student. So, I sell this Extra Joss because it can be
easy to drink at a time when they do sport. It is more economical because there is no
need to buy outside, and it is easy to drink. Each Extra Joss box have 6 packets inside
and the price is also reasonable, the selling price is RM5 per box and RM1 for 1 packet
it has 3 types of flavors.

3.2 MY APPLICATION SELLS

I sell my Extra Joss on WhatsApp and


Telegram app only; this is because I use both
has more contacts than other apps. I sold this
product on WhatsApp status and in all the
groups I joined. The average responds and
wants my Extra Joss. More than that they buy
not just 1pcs but more than 1psc. This makes
it easier for me to spend all the stock I have.

6.0 PR0JECT OUTCOME

After 9 days from 18 - 26 April 2022 selling Extra Joss, I managed to finish all the
stock of Extra Joss. I have managed to get RM 205 with my sales proceeds. My
customers are mostly from the College I Live in, however there are also other college
students who also buy with my sales. I thank them for being able to help make my
small business a success. Most likely I will continue my business by increasing the
number of stocks of Extra Joss for sale until I finish my studies at UiTM.

SELF-CONFIDENCE

Since childhood and until now I have learned a lot of knowledge and experience about
business. From a young age I was educated by my parents who were also successful
entrepreneurs in my eyes. At the age of 8 I was trading Ramlee burgers that were fried
by my mother every morning before I went to school. I started selling this burger to my
classmates and even other classmates wanted to buy it. Then my experience was that I
used to work in my father's grocery store which is in the international Islamic
university (uia) and from there I gained more knowledge about business. My
confidence in this business is very high because since childhood I can see my father
doing business. My inspiration in this business was my own father because my father
was a big-hearted man, and I was diligent about his job. Now my dad has 10 grocery
stores around the university across the country and I would like to follow in his
footsteps in this area of business. I am confident and believe that the words "ladder of
success" is the motivation for me to succeed.

8.1 PATIENCE

Patience is an essential trait to every trader out there. I was able to learn a lot of
positive and negative things in this business of mine. The nature of patience is the most
important because we cannot even be a prudent buyer there are also those who have a
negative attitude. Starting on the day I was in business, the negative attitudes I received
were, asking to be in debt, making late payments, changing flavors at the end of time
and so on. So, my lesson on this patience can be reinforced from the negative attitudes
of the customers. To me this is human nature, where not everything is too easy to deal
with.

8.2 TIME MANAGEMENT

Time management is very important for every trader. For example, I am a university
student who has a very busy schedule. I have classes from 8 AM - 5 PM. This is because
I don’t have too much free time. I will promote, sell, and send Extra Joss at all my free
time. So, this is why I have to work 24 hours for me to make sure my business runs
smoothly and successfully

9.0 CONCLUSION

Finally, my experience in this Extra Joss business can add to my knowledge about
buying this hybrid. I can interact with more people, and I can add my contacts. I can
also find out the flavors of this Extra Joss, among others, original, anggur and mangga.
Among the difficulties I faced was competition between other businesses. For example,
I have to give the best service to every customer and have to give a reasonable price
because if it is too expensive then they will not buy while if it is too cheap I will lose. So,
I have to set a very reasonable price to make the buyer buy cheerfully. So that’s my
experience in this business and I’m proud of the success I’ve had.
