Warm up

 Present:
- Show a picture of each word and let students guess the word
- Practice pronouncing the word: listen and repeat

- Practice pronouncing the chunk: listen and repeat
- Invite some students to repeat individually, and correct their pronunciation.

 Practice: Practice with TPR


- Give the chunks of the words
- Invite students to suggest actions for the chunks
- Practice the chunks combined with body movements
- Do the actions for students to guess the chunks and do the actions at the
same time.

- Ask students to turn their backs against the slide
- Do the actions for students to guess the chunks and do the actions at the

 Review: What’s missing
- Repeat 5 chunks one time
- Disappear the chunks one after another, and ask students what’s missing
(whole class and individual)
- Disappear the pictures one after another, and ask students what’s missing

Grammar (15’):

 Present: Look and say


- Show questions and short answer with highlighting the words relating to the
grammar point. (Grammar point: Are you having a picnic ? Yes/No)
- Listen and repeat (with the whole class and individual)
 Practice:
o Controlled practice: Fill in the blank
- Show a picture about some people at the Zoo.
- Show sentences that are not completed.
- Students will raise their hands to give the answer.
- Invite one student to fill in the blank to complete the question
- Ask one student to answer the question base on the picture.
- Repeat the questions and answers (with the whole class and individual)

o Less controlled practice: Hidden pictures


- Divide class into 2 teams and make 2 lines
- Slowly reveal the hidden part of the picture
- Students at the top of each line throw sticky ball at Me on the board to get
the chance to make question that matches the picture.
- Let the other team confirm first by giving a short answer
- If the teacher answer Yes,… > The faster team gets one start
- If the teacher answer No,… > The other team will make question to the
teacher.
o Check comprehension: Slap the board
- Keep 2 teams as above
- Show a picture with a question and 2 option of answer (A and B).
- Students at the top of two line will slap on A or B, then say out loud the
answer
- Give star for faster team with correct answer

 Production: Charades
- Divide class into 2 teams
- One student from each team will turn their backs against slide
- Teacher shows pictures on slide
- The team act to describe the pictures
- The students ring the bell to get the chance to answer
- The students will ask “Are you….. (doing something)?”
- If it’s true, the team respond by short answer, and get one star
- If it’s false, the team respond by short answer, and the chance to answer
belong to the other team.
