Child Protection Policy Accomplishment Report

I. RATIONALE
The objective of the several parts that make up Child Protection Policy is to
keep kids and youth safe. It comprises agency-specific child safety processes, rules
for reporting events, and precautions against abuse. And as a one of the agency who
perform and nurture this young individuals we have a responsibility to safeguard
them from any detrimental situations that put them in danger as one of the
organizations that supports them. The school has a responsibility to implement
initiatives that safeguard students while giving them a chance to grow and develop
as individuals in the near future.
Through this program, a variety of issues or incidents can be prevented. The
following include prejudice based on a person's race, bullying, child exploitation,
and child extortion. And the purpose of this program is to uplift students' spirits and
keep them focused on their studies. A few innovations were offered by the school,
demonstrating their value as a person.

II.OBJECTIVE
These are the following goals of Leopoldo D. Dacera Sr. Integrated
School for this school year 2022-2023;
 To monitor the safety of the pupils/students from hazardous situation such
unpredictable calamities.
➢ To reduce the incidence of bullying and other unwanted
Events that may harm our pupils/students
➢ To uplift student’s moral and understand their significance as a
Unique individuals.

III. ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Unfortunately, poverty is one of the biggest reasons why a youngster
wasn't in school. Instead of sending them to school, their parents will send them
to work so that they can support themselves. In this situation, child exploitation
took place. Because they were exposed to so much work at a young age and
were not physically capable of doing such difficult tasks for survival, they
developed ailments including fatigue, TB, and other dangerous illnesses because
of too much work. That is why the "NO COLLECTION POLICY" proposed and
implemented in every school since it helps parents reduce their school-related
expenses and frees up the children from having to work to support their
necessities.
Even though it was made mandatory across the nation, some schools
continue to never implement such a program. Still raising funds to assist and
support that particular school's financial initiative. And as a program
implementation school, we have been successful in upholding and maintaining
this responsibility to support our parents and, especially, our students by
continuing this program.
Another program that benefited our students was the implementation of
"VALUES FORMATION" in secondary level as one of the junior high teachers
we have observed that there are some students who exhibited such behaviour
which are very alarming just like, cyber bullying, exposing in pornographic
videos, misbehaviour inside the classroom, and other bad traits that causes
negative to their academic performance, so we JHS and SHS Department initiate
to launch and practice this program to bring back the students to affirmative
behaviour that they have almost forgotten because of the unstoppable
modernization that brought by gadgets and other modern stuff that totally change
them into something that we’ve never expected.
The aforementioned event was held every Friday and gave our secondary
school students the opportunity to praise and worship God as well as learn about
his teachings and other sharing of values formation, which would serve as a
reminder to them to improve as people.
The practice earthquake simulation led by our DRRM Coordinator,
Ma'am Wendelyn T. Belgira, was the final activity that had a direct connection
to kid protection policy. In order to prepare our beloved students for potentially
dangerous calamities like earthquakes, we are doing this. Whenever the school
year ended.

IV. ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS

The successful continuation of “NO COLLECTION POLICY” the “VALUES
FORMATION” That was implemented every Friday and the after school year
end “Earthquake Simulation” Headed by our DRRM coordinator that helps our
student to be knowledgeable enough in the time of any calamities.
V. PROBLEM ENCOUNTERED
There are some cases that we cannot still manage just like cyber bullying,
exposing in pornographic videos and even unwanted calamities but still we are
trying our best to lessen the cases.

VI. CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

To continue what had been started and continue to practice and innovat
and propose more projects that would help our students.
