Explanation on the video clip

1. What is the video about?

The video ‘Talking about other people’ is describing how people talk about other
people. We can see in the video that two people are having a conversation about their
jobs fields and they connect the discussion with one person who was once their
colleague. They talked about the one person by using some useful vocabulary patterns
and expressions for her excellency in her job fields.

2. Who are the characters in the video?

The video introduces us with THREE main characters for the story. As you can see in the
above images, we have Noeila ( Creative Director ) and Yuna ( Managing Director ). And
the person they were talking about is called Anya Patel who was once their co-worker.
3. What happened in the video?

As I mentioned above, the video has THREE characters. Firstly it starts with two characters (
Noeila and Yuna )who were doing their own stuff. During the time, Yuna asked Noeila how her
project is going and Noeila replied it's going really well. And Yuna added another question: did
Noeil work with the digital team? And Noeila answered that she is helping the team for the new
project. Then again, Yuna wants to know whether Noeila knows whom she worked with before
in her last job. Anya Patel is the one whom Noeila was working for the contract with. Anya
Patel seems to be a skillful and committed person in her business fields. According to their
conservation, Anya Patel always gets what she wants with her abilities. And then suddenly
Anya called Noeila for the contract and Noeila seemed worried about talking with her because
Anya seems to be strict with her jobs and be accurate with limitations. To finalize with the
video, when we talk about other people, we should say in good ways to have bonds with
society instead of saying negative words behind other people.

Now we know we know the beneficial and helpful phrases and expressions while we used to
talk about other people. To sum up, its our nature to talk with each other so we can have bond
with other people or with our society. We may talk good things as well as bad things. So
instead of talking negative things and personal faults in order to be satisfied by ourselves, we
should start making the compliment and good things so we can make a special bond between
each and other.
