SMA Negeri 1 Kuta or Senior High
School 1 Kuta is a public high school in Bali. It
is located on Jalan Dewi Saraswati, Seminyak,
Kuta. SMA Negeri 1 Kuta is one of the favorite
schools in Badung Regency with an A
accreditation. It provides education for
students from 10th to 12th grade with a focus
on two different majors: science and social
studies.
The school has several facilities such
as classrooms, library, canteen, laboratory
rooms including biology, physics, chemistry,
and computer labs, multimedia room, school
health unit room, hall, and basketball court.
Other than that, there is a teacher's room,
administration room, principal's room, and vice
principal's room.
SMA Negeri 1 Kuta also has a wide
range of extracurricular activities in both
academic and non-academic fields. SMA
Negeri 1 Kuta is known as a school that has a
massive amount of achievements. Various
types of competitions are often followed by
SMA Negeri 1 Kuta students, both at regency,
province, national, even international level and
won the championship.
Descriptive
SMA Negeri 1 Kuta was founded on
July 21, 2000. SMA Negeri 3 Kuta, which in
2003 changed its name to SMA Negeri 1 Kuta,
used to share a building that was originally the
building of SD No. 10 Kuta. Located in Badung
Regency, SMA Negeri 1 Kuta is a popular
school known for its top grades and strong
education. It is located on Jalan Dewi
Saraswati in Seminyak, Kuta, and it is a great
place to study here. Students from grades 10
to 12 are admitted to this school. It is an
important place for them to make progress in
their studies. What sets it apart is its strong
focus on two main majors: science and social
studies. This means that students should
carefully prepare for the major they want to
choose so that the major they choose in high
school can be in line with the major they want
to choose in college.
The school has different places where
students can study and do different activities.

experiments. There are different labs for
biology, physics, and chemistry. There is also
a computer room where students can use
computers to study. There is also a multimedia
room. This room is usually used to conduct
meetings with other internal schools or with
external schools. To take care of the students'
health, there's a school nurse's room. If
students don't feel well, they can go there to
get help. The school also has a large room
called the hall. This is where events and
gatherings take place. It's a place for students
to get together. Outside, there's a basketball
court. This is the place where teachers and
students usually hold the flag ceremony. There
are also rooms for teachers and principals.
The teachers' room is where the teachers can
prepare for classes and talk. The
administration room is where school related
work is done. The principal and vice principal
also have their own rooms.
SMA Negeri 1 Kuta offers many extra
activities beyond the regular classes. These
activities are about different things, like
learning and also things not related to classes.
For example, students can join clubs for
different interests. Some clubs are about
things like science, art, language or sports.
These clubs take place after normal classes.
The school is also known for its great
achievements. Students have done very well
in many competitions. These competitions are
held at different levels. Some are just in our
area, called regency. Others are bigger, like for
the whole province or even the whole nation.
There are even some that involve students
from other countries.
