1. Introduce yourself and write the expectations you have about the course.

Hello, my name is Mabel Cristina Alvarez Molina, I am 32 years old and I live in the city of

Medellin, I am in the last semester of my degree in foreign languages with an emphasis in

English and I am very happy to soon be able to finish my studies, I am also a nurse, To which I

currently dedicate myself, I have a wonderful husband and a wonderful son with whom I live and

love deeply.

I hope we can get to know each other, collaborate with each other and achieve great results in the

course.

Expectations

My main expectations for this course are clearly to learn more about the social sciences and what

is their importance in the development as people and as human beings.

In addition Develop skills that allow me to guide this area, taking into account different

strategies that help me in teaching, as a future teacher through the activities proposed in the

course.

and finally practice more English through the proposed activities, strengthening basic skills.
2. How does this course help me to articulate social science in the classroom?

I believe that this course can help me, because first I will learn what are those social sciences that

exist and that the truth is that there are many, I did not know about them and they help me to

know more about people, about society and about what human behavior is like. It is, for

example, how is the behavior of a student in my class, how is the best way to teach him, so that

he really learns, therefore, in this way, an excellent branch to apply to my future work as a

teacher.

3. In your opinion, which is the social science field that could be used the most in the

language classroom? Why?

I believe that as a future teacher the field of Social Sciences that could be most used in the

language classroom is Communication, since it is vital and essential for teaching, also because

with adequate communication interactions with other people can be established. , which would

make the teaching of a second language more effective, since adequate communication between

teacher and student brings great benefits.
