    B. Materials Needed: Chalk(s), chalkboard, Curriculum Overview handouts
    III. Procedure
    1. Arrival and setup (5 minutes)
    A. Welcome students
    B. Preliminaries
    2. Icebreaker Activity (15 minutes)
    A. Group students according to their hobbies or interests in a fun and interactive way.
    B. Once all students have found their groups, ask each group to share something related to
    their hobby.
    3. Classroom Routines and Expectations ( 10 minutes)
    A. Introduce key classroom routines
    4. Curriculum Overview ( 10 minutes)
    A. Introduce the curriculum overviews.
    B. Highlight the main topics and performance standards.
    5. About Me Forms ( Leveling of Expectations)
    A. Let students answer the ‘About Me’ forms.
    B. Allow students to share their expectations.
    6. Safety Brief and Open Communication
    A. Quick touch on essential safety procedures/reminders.
    B. Encourage open communication.
    7. Feedback and Closing
    A. Ask students how they’re feeling about the upcoming year.
