LESSON PLAN IN GRADE 9 ENGLISH

September 26-30, 2022

I. Objectives
1. Answer questions satisfactorily;
2. Participate in the graded oral recitation.
II. Content
Subject Matter: Graded Oral Participation, Summative Test
References: Teacher-made questions

III. Procedure
A. Classroom Routine
Greetings, prayer, checking of attendance and cleanliness of the room

B. Recall
Call one student to give a brief review of the activities done the previous meeting.

C. Graded Oral Participation

1. Call one student at a time in alphabetical order.
2. The student will pick a topic/lesson previously discussed. The question that he/she has to
answer will be taken from this topic.
3. The student has 3 chances to answer the question satisfactorily. 5 points if answered on the
first try, 3 on the second try, and 2 on the third try. 1 point will still be given if he/she didn’t
try to answer at all.

D. Giving of Summative Test

Ask the students to prepare one-whole sheet of paper, arrange their chairs one seat apart and
distribute the Summative. Remind them to mind their own papers, to remain silent during the
test, and to raise hand if they have any question or concern.
