Implementation of Printed Modular

Distance Learning.
Perception of students in Tambis
National High School.
ABSTRACT
Modular distance learning features individualized instruction
that allows learners to use-self learning modular (SLMS) in print
as digital format electronic/copy whichever is applicable to the
learners.

The study investigates the students learning readiness and this

level of learning outcomes in the implementation of modular
distance learning.

In this research, my data tabulation was completed by

conducting a survey questionnaire to give to the respondents.
The key purpose of this research is to find out the challenges encountered, opinions
and recommendations of students in the implementation of Modular Distance
Learning.

The result of the research that the implementation of modular distance learning, in the
data tabulation is that many choose neutral and agree.

The recommendations of my study result is to provide support to teachers and

students on the use of digital tools and create communities and enhance connection.

The implication of the Implementation of printed modular distance learning is that

students will have difficulty with the signal of the gadgets.
I.INTRODUCTION

Background of the study

• Modular Distance Learning features
individualized instruction that allows
learners to use self-learning modular
(SLMS) in print as digital
format/electronic copy , whichever is
applicable to the learners.
•As a students when we
doing modular distance
learning have difficulty
because we do not
understand espicially in
difficult subjects.
•For me to
know what the
contents are
about the
subject, and
what the
effects are.
•The rationale of my study in Modular Distance
Learning is that the use of modules encourages
independent learning. It challenge my self, we
consider our own in learning the concepts
presented in the module.
Statement of the problem

•This study aims to know or determine the

perception of students in Tambis National
High School during the implementation of
printed modular distance learning school year
2021-2022.
Specifically this research were answer the following
question:

1.Is modular distance learning preferable than full face to

face education?
2.Is students learn more in modular distance learning than
face to face?
3.Is modular distance learning convenient for both learners
and teachers face to face?
STATEMENT OF
HYPOTHESIS

Ho: There is no significant change

in students academic performance
during the Implementation of
printed modular distance learning.
Ha: There are significant change in
students during the Impeachment
of printed modular distance
learning.
II.REVIEW OF RELATED
LITERATURE
•Some are struggling with distance or modular
learning and some are fortunate enough to provide the
needs during the pandemic Covid-19. Everyone who is
affected has their own ways and strategy for surviving
in this time of the pandemic, since the school term
started parents, guardians and teachers are working
hard to provide students need in terms of school
supplies and equipment for modular and online learning,
every one of us is adjusting from the New Normal
System.
III.METHODOLOGY

•THIS STUDY UTILIZED THE SURVEY DESIGN IN

DETERMINING THE CHALLENGES ON THE USAGE OF
MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING MODALITY (MDLM) AND
DESCRIPTIVE DESIGN IN IDENTIFYING THE DIFFERENT
SOLUTIONS TO THESE CHALLENGES.
Participants of the study

•The research will randomly select thirty(30)

respondents who are enrolled in Tambis
National High School school year 2022-
2023.
Instrument of
research

The use self made survey questionnaire to be

given to selected respondents. This study is
quantitative research which employ the
phenomological research design to determined
the perception of learners in the use of printed
modular distance learning.
Data Collection
Methods

This study seeks to investigate the effects of printed

modular distance learning in the academic performance
of learners whether these is a significant difference in
this performance before and after the implementation of
modular distance learning.
Data Analysis

Conclusion

In this research the great number of activities in each module is one of the main
problems that emerged in the Implementation of Modular Distance Learning.
The department of Education should consider the problem, reduce the activities,
and take out the necessary topics so that will be attained as much as possible. As
what some parents said, the lesser the better. One of the concern of the students
is that they no have enough time to answer all the modules within a week and
having difficulty answering because it is not understood.
