The Challenges in using Self learning Printed Modules as learning

modality of grade 12 Senior high school Students of


Clark College of Science and Technology

Introduction
One of the ways to learn in the middle of pandemic is the Printed modules and we know
that the Philippines have the low quality of WiFi connection so majority choose the printed
modules as they learning modality but they encountered some challenges in this kind of
learning modality.
To ensure that learning stays unrestricted DepEd will actualize a separation learning
approach, a learning conveyance mode where communication happens between the educator
and the understudies who are topographically distant from one another during guidance this
implies exercise will be conveyed outside the conventional arrangements. (DepEd)
This study will be conducted with the grade 12 Senior High School student in Clark
College of Science and Technology, The Grade 12 student will be the respondents at this
research to know what are the challenges of using printed modules as the learning modality
and find what are the way to avoid this challenges and study efficiently.
The point why schooling ought to be proceeded in the midst of the pandemic is for
understudies not to get stale. That is the reason schools will give materials which are anything
but difficult to get a handle on. Since understudies are matured 21 and beneath, they are not
permitted to remain outside and one approach to keep them occupied is to let them
concentrate on their own movement. It isn't essential that they do it the entire day. In an
occasion that the understudies cannot achieve the undertakings, an arrangement it might be
directed by the instructors through home appearance using printed modules as learning
modality. (Gerl)
In this research we need more to learn how to handle thing like this we need more to
knowledge by using this printed modules so we are really serious to find what are the ways to
get more effective the using of printed modules as the learning modality and to make sure
learning is still hampered, and this research will help you to know how to handle the challenges
of using printed materials as the learning material in this kind of pandemic.
Despite the fact that there are emerging new ways and technologically-enhanced
materials, teachers shouldn’t forget that print materials still bring in benefits to students
learning. Teachers should make sure that print materials will appear interesting to students
considering that graphics in print materials are static.  Teachers should also be wary in the
selection and utilization of print materials because most likely such materials are rarely in sync
to the learning needs of the students. The main purpose of this research is to find what are the
challenges of the student when they are using printed modules as their learning modality and
help them to past this kind of challenges and study easily and get more knowledge on what
course they are taking and in the finishing of their senior high school and be the one of
completers of k-12 with the help of printed modules and finish their lesson.

Statement of the Problem


The researcher seeks to know what is purpose of this qualitative research to provide
information about the challenges in using of Printed Modules as learning modality of Grade 12
Senior High School Student of Clark College of Science and Technology.

1. What are the challenges of Printed Modules as learning modality for Grade 12 Senior
High School Student?

2. Is it Effective to use printed modules as learning modality for grade 12 Senior High
School Students?

3. What are the ways to avoid the challenges of using learning module as learning
modality?

4. Based on the finding is it effective to use the printed modules as learning modality?

5. Why the student has this kind of challenges on using printed modules as learning
modality?

6. Is it helpful to the grade 12 student to use printed modules as learning modality?

Scope and Delimitation


In this study, researcher will aim to know what are the challenges of using printed
modules as learning modality how will they handle it and pass their year level with this kind of
learning modality and we want to know what are this challenges that they are facing and in this
way we will find the solution to avoid the challenges and how will they use this to easily finish
their printed modules.
Significance of the Study
The purpose of this study is to know what are the challenges of using printed modules
as learning modality and how they will handle it. The study will beneficial to the following:

To the students. This research will help them to find to know what are the challenges that they
will face if they are using printed modules as their learning modality and give them idea on how
will they handle this kind of challenges

To the Teacher. It will help them to know what are the challenges of the student while using
printed modules as learning modality and help them to avoid this.

To the Family. To know on how will they help their son/daughter to face the challenges on
using printed modules as learning modality.

To the Future Researcher. This research can be their reference or a guide as future researcher
with the same study or related topic to this research.
