The benefits of regular exercise


I. Introduction
A. World society has changed after the pandemic era, one of which is the decreasing trend of
regular exercise.
B. Home exercise gyms was #2 for 2022 dropping to #13 for 2023.
C. It can be seen that people's interest in exercise is decreasing, even though the benefits of
regular exercise are very good for our health and we can actually do exercise while we are
carrying out our daily activities.

II. First body paragraph-first claim/Reason


A. Benefits of regular exercise
1. Exercise is the miracle cure we've always had.
2. People who exercise regularly have a lower risk of developing many long-term (chronic)
conditions.
3. Whatever your age, there's strong scientific evidence that being physically active can help
you lead a healthier and happier life.
B. Apart from being beneficial, exercise can't only be done in your free time.

III. Second body paragraph-Second claim/Reason


A. Exercise can be done while we are carrying out our daily activities.
1. For most people, the easiest way to get moving is to make activity part of everyday life,
like walking for health or cycling instead of using the car to get around.
2. For any type of activity to benefit your health, you need to be moving quick enough to
raise your heart rate, breathe faster and feel warmer.
3. The more you do, the better, and taking part in activities such as sports and exercise will
make you even healthier.
B. Even though it is beneficial, there are still many people who do not exercise.

IV. Third body paragraph—Opposing Viewpoint


A. There are several things that reduce a person's interest in exercising.
1. There is a possibility of injury
2. The feeling of boredom will appear
3. There will be a lot of sports equipment
B. Even though some of these reasons can actually be overcome.

V. Fourth body paragraph—Refutation/Strongest Claim


A. Some people feel that sport is less interesting so people are not interested in doing it.
B. Even though exercise has many benefits and we can do it according to our needs.
1. We can avoid injury by doing warm up.
2. We can try another exercise that different from what we usually do.
3. Choose exercise that you like and don't need a sports equipment

VI. Conclusions
A. World society has changed after the pandemic era, one of which is the decreasing trend of
regular exercise, none other than exercise has many benefits.
B. However, there are several things that reduce a person's interest in exercising, some people
feel that sport is less interesting so people are not interested in doing it.
C. But, there are so many ways to keep exercising, for example choose exercise that you like
and don't need a sports equipment
