ACTIVITY PROPOSAL
I. TITLE:

Project Proposal on Learning Tools and Equipment

for Landscape Installation and Maintenance

II. RATIONALE:
Landscaping projects often require specialized tools and equipment to
ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. With the availability of these tools and
equipment, there can be improved efficiency and productivity, enhanced
quality work, safety measures are considered, and versatility and scope of
projects is increased. Further, with its presence students knowledge and
skills will be developed making them competitive in the industry, save time,
efforts, and money and most importantly, become mindful of the
environment.

In addition, Landscape Installation and Maintenance facilitated the

integration of entrepreneurship in agriculture. Learners are taught to earn
from their skills by engaging in small landscaping projects. They are also
trained in simple carpentry and masonry to produce total landscaping
package creating concrete structures for pictorials which will attract
tourists. It cannot be denied that to produce quality outputs, enough and
right tools, materials and equipment in every task required are needed.
Every time they perform simple repairs, carpentry and masonry works they
borrow from Masons and Carpenters in the locality.

In summary, this proposal highlights the various ways in which these

resources will improve efficiency, quality, safety, and competitiveness while
also addressing environmental and regulatory concerns. It provides and
justifies the investment and demonstrates its long-term benefits to students’
development in the field of Landscape Installation and Maintenance.

III. PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The purchase of tools and equipment for landscape installation and
maintenance aims to acquire essential tools and equipment necessary for
the efficient and effective execution of landscaping projects and ongoing
landscape maintenance tasks. In addition, it will be of great help to develop
the knowledge and skills of students in this field that will later augment
their economic status. Also, the availability of these tools and equipment in
our school will improve and maintain the quality of landscape services of
our students that has somehow helped them financially and at the same
time ensure their safety and productivity.

IV. OBJECTIVES:

1. Procure a comprehensive set of tools and equipment required for

landscape installation and maintenance,
2. Enhance the capability and efficiency of the students enrolled in the
specialization,
3. Improve the quality and aesthetic of landscape projects using the tools
and equipment,
4. Ensure the safety of the students through the use of appropriate and
well-maintained equipment.
5.Value the importance and benefits of landscaping in improving the
aesthetic value of an area.

VIII. BENEFICIARIES:
The beneficiaries of this project are the Sta. Cruz National High School
Senior High School Students, teachers and the school.

IX. EXPECTED OUTPUTS:

As one of the identified tourism site of the Municipality of San Miguel
Leyte , Sta. Cruz National High School specializing Landscape Installation
and Maintenance is expected to enhance, maintain and develop other area
of the school grounds through the practical application of knowledge of our
LIM learners making our school grounds as their Laboratory Area. With the
provision of tools, materials and equipment, the activities will be much
lighter and will be more convenient for our learners.

X. MONITORING AND EVALUATION:

Through the provision of the Learning Tools and Materials for our
Landscape Installation and Maintenance practical activities, our senior high
school learners will be more convenient in performing their required
performance tasks.

For the monitoring and evaluation of the TVL strand qualification, the
Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) office through the Division
Education Program Supervisor In-charge of the Technology and Livelihood
Education (TLE) / Technical Vocational and Livelihood ( TVL) shall conduct
a monitoring and evaluation on the implementation of the LIM activities and
utilization of the tools, materials and equipment provided using a tool
designed by the Curriculum Implementation Division.
