Capstone Update #2

What I have accomplished so far

I've finished the process of coming up with a content strategy for my podcast episodes
for my capstone project thus far. I collected data, came up with concepts, and decided on the
duration of each episode. I'm committed to the success of my podcast, and I am well-organized.
Together with my guests, I have determined a schedule for my podcast episodes. I've figured
out the optimum days and times to record each episode for myself and my guests. I'll be able to
stay organized, make sure everyone is available, and provide my listeners with a regular release
schedule if I have a clear timetable. I also have all the gear I need for podcasts. I bought two
microphones that I can use with my computer editing software and some high-quality
headphones.

What I plan to accomplish by the end of the week

By the end of next week, I'll be diligently working on creating a set of engaging prompts
that will guide my podcast episodes. These prompts will ensure that my conversations with
guests flow smoothly and cover all the interesting topics. Once I have my prompts ready, I'll dive
right into recording my very first podcast episode. I can't wait to have my first guest join me as
we delve into captivating discussions and share their unique stories.

My needs (materials, time, space, mentor etc.)

I have carved time to work on my capstone outside of my busy schedule, although I need to
dedicate specific days for working on this project. I also need to gain contact with other
individuals. I have spoken to my mom who is a therapist, she works in an office with others who
specialize in teen mental health. I hope to speak with them and potentially gain a
mentor/contact for my podcast.

Challenges I encountered and how I have overcome them?

The main challenge I have encountered is condensing my ideas. I have a long list of podcast
topics to talk about. I had a difficult time choosing the direction I wanted to take for my
episodes. Although, I have overcame this by taking the time to brainstorm and choose what I am
most passionate about.
