Purpose
The purpose of this document is to define the roles and responsibilities of the R&M District
Maintenance Supervisor.
Scope
This document has a global reach and is applicable to every Pressure Pumping district engaged in
maintenance activities.

Roles
Coordinate, control, and organize the execution of the R&M Program established by the Baker
Hughes Incorporated.
Maintain rolling equipment with a minimum amount of component failures, road calls, job problems,
and comebacks due to maintenance.
Responsibilities
Safety
Provide a safe work environment for all direct report personnel. Inform and supervise Baker
Hughes Incorporated Policies and Procedures.
Conduct safety meetings.
Inspect R&M Personnel Tools.
Maintenance
Plan and coordinate maintenance activities with Operations helping them to resolve priority
problems.
Claim, review and process the Operator’s Inspection Reports.
Order parts, materials or service as they are needed.
Evaluate Open Work orders on the CMMS, prioritize and assign them along with the necessary
resources to all direct report personnel.
Assure that planned preventive maintenance schedule inspections are properly performed.
Review and keep updated the CMMS to effectively implement the R&M Program.
Control CC&W work orders and maintain updated the equipment structure and hierarchy on the
CMMS (level 1 and 2) according the Minimum Equipment Structure Hierarchy (Fig. 1.0).
Accomplish the quality programs and standards.
Supervise, control, and evaluate direct report personnel. Review and sign PM inspections and
work orders before to be entered on the CMMS.
Maintain up to date all contents of Units Files (refer to File Folders).
Evaluate yearly all direct report personnel.
Maintain good interpersonal relationships with direct report personnel and from other areas
within the Company.
Make recommendations to improve the performance of direct report personnel.
Enthusiastically motivate direct report personnel to perform quality jobs.
