Dear Sir,

We refer to your recent letter of Ref. No. DBRP/02/0322/23 dated 15 th of October, 2023,
in which you submitted the quality test results of subbase material obtained from
sources at BCC’ 0+420 RHS and red-ash at km 22+100 RHS offset 5 km blended with
(2:1) and (1:1) ratio, respectively.

Accordingly, we have thoroughly reviewed the test results in contrast with the project
specification and found that the result with (2:1) blend ratio has a marginal PI% value
and is not accepted. However, the result with (1:1) blend ratio has satisfied the
specification requirement and is provisionally accepted to be utilized for the trial
subbase layer material.

Please note that final approval would be given based on the performance of the work
method and the test result after completing the trial section and conducting the
required tests after compaction, and this will enable us to employ the material in
permanent works.
