Lesson
Development
1. Teacher gives pupils instructions. Eg ‘point to something (red or green, etc) –
pupils point to things inside or outside the classroom.
2. Pupils are divided into two groups based on their learning levels.
3. Play Simon Says. If your instruction is Simon says point to something green,
pupils do this. If you just say point to something green, they don’t do it.
4. Low group:
Teacher use only one colour and show the flashcards of the colours while
giving the instruction.
Advance group:
Extend the colour sequence by adding a colour. Eg: Simon says point to
something red and something blue. (no colour flashcards provided)
5. After listening to the instructions, pupils write the colour on the worksheet.
Low group :
Word-trace

Post 1. Teacher observes which pupils listen to the instructions correctly.


2. Teacher checks the worksheet given and provides feedback.
