In my room i have a stack of photos on my table , the photos are col-

lecting dust and are flying off the table. The photos have been there
for a long time. It needs to be in either a photo album or picture frame.
There was no space in my photo album so i will make a picture frame

Problem Defined
 1. I had a stack of photos on my desk
2. The photos were falling and collecting dust
3. My photo album is full
4. So now i make a picture frame

Challenge
My group is required to design a picture frame It must be able to hold
a picture, be attractive and pleasing to look at. It should be made from
mostly recycled material and cost under $20.00

Chosen Solution (1)
 Why was the chosen solution selected

The chosen solution was selected through the voting process among
the entire group. Each member voted on each possible solution. The
votes were then tallied up and possible solution 1 had the most there-
fore it was chosen
 Why were the others rejected?

The others were rejected because the chosen solution because they
didn’t have more votes and weren’t as visually pleasing as the chosen
solution
 Developmental work

Tools: Glue gun, scissors, knife,

Materials:Glue, straws, Board, Ziplock bag

Method of production
 1. We stuck 4 straws together
2. Repeat the process 3 more times
3. stick each piece on each other
4. stick the board on the back of the square
5. Put the plastic over the straws
6. insert picture

Testing

The picture fit in well and did not fall out, the design looked well and
the picture frame did its job
 Evaluation

The picture frame did its job and worked flawless

 Self evaluation

The project was a group effort and i supplied straws board and plastic
and put together
