PROJECT/BUDGET PROPOSAL

I. TITLE: Provision of Additional (3) CCTV Camera (Elementary level)

II. RATIONALE:

As a public education center, schools have a key responsibility to ensure the

on-going safety of both their students and teachers while on school premises. The
administration must take an initiative to guarantee that there will be no unnecessary
incidents that may harm the learners. Safety and security of our learners should be
one of the prime considerations in an educational institution. CCTV camera
surveillance systems are increasingly being used in schools to maintain safety and
security, allowing school and faculty staff to focus on their responsibilities and to
prevent possible danger or criminal activity like vandalism or damaging of school
property taking place at the site. In this regard, additional 3 CCTV cameras are needed
to install on other parts of the school that are necessary to monitor from time to time.
The existing school CCTV system has blind spots or areas that are not adequately
covered, leaving certain parts of the school vulnerable to security breaches. Adding
more cameras could address these coverage gaps and provide comprehensive
surveillance. In this matter, possible danger like vandalism or damaging of school
property would be prevented.

The procurement and implementation of this project is in accordance to the

DepEd Order NO. 008 s. 2019 on the Revised Implementation Guidelines on the Use of
MOOE Allocation to fund minor repairs of facilities, buildings and grounds
maintenance necessary for the upkeep of the school as identified in the approved
School Improvement Plan.

III. OBJECTIVES:

Terminal Objective

At the end of the project, the school will be able to ensure the provision
of a healthy and safety learning environment as part of the Child-Friendly
School Program

Enabling Objectives

a. Keep student safety and prevent untoward incidents occurring during school
hours that may harm them, whether that is bullying, unauthorized access,
or criminal activity such as vandalism.
b. Provide teachers and other staff with protection against potential false
threats of misconduct
c. Protect school building infrastructure assets and learning tools

 Provision of Power supply to centralized the distribution of power supply
 6 months warranty will be on products and will provide 1 to 1 exchange if
product found to be defective

IX. EXPECTED OUTCOME/LONG TERM RESULT:

b. Maintain the quality standard of CCTV installation under the stated
conditions of the Department of Education.
c. Effective design of the CCTV installation that is sustainable for the learner’s
development.

X. MONITORING AND EVALUATION SCHEME:

The School Property Custodian together with the School ICT Coordinator shall
be mainly in-charge of regular monitoring and inspection of the projects to ensure that
the approved program of works is being executed by the selected contractor/s
accordingly. He will review and validate work accomplishments of the constructors
and their claims for payments of completed works and assist in the resolution of
issues and concerns during project implementation.
On the other hand, the school head before the issuance of the Certificate of
Completion, conduct Final Inspection of projects and ensure compliance to the
Program of Works, Plans and Specifications.
