Dear Laurice,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to inform you that unfortunately, I will not
be able to attend the whole week school event “Palakasan” scheduled from April 22 to April 26,
2023. I have been diagnosed with an ear infection by my healthcare provider and have been
advised to rest and follow a medication regimen for my recovery. I have attached a copy of my
medical certificate for your reference.

As a student, I understand the importance of attending school events and participating in

extracurricular activities. However, due to my current health condition, I am unable to do so. The
ear infection has caused discomfort and pain, and my healthcare provider has emphasized the
need for rest and proper medication to ensure a full recovery.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, I value my education and the
opportunities provided by school events, and I am disappointed to miss out on this event.

I kindly request your understanding and support during this time. Thank you for your
attention to this matter. I look forward to returning to school and participating in future events
once I have fully recovered.
