• Ultimate is a non-contact, self-refereed team sport
played with a flying disc frisbee.

• A frisbee (pronounced FRIZ-bee), also called a flying


disc or simply a disc.

DISC/FRISBEE - Unlike many sports with spherical,
inflated game balls, Ultimate uniquely uses a “flatball” or
disc-shaped ball for everything related to the sport.

CLEATS (Shoes) - Cleats are essential for being
able to run properly on the field and to give you a great
ground support. If you wear tennis shoes, it can be very
easy to slip when making the cut or even throwing. The
style of cleats you get depends on what you want in a shoe.
O Soccer cleats – great for beginners. Compared to other
cleat types, soccer cleats are lighter which makes it easier
to run on the field.
FACILITIES O Football cleats – good for ankle support when playing
& ultimate frisbee. As a beginner, it is a great cleat to start off
with.
EQUIPMENT
O Lacrosse cleats – the best type of cleat for experienced
players because they know how to control their body and
are knowledgeable in the rules and structure of the game.
CLOTHING

• Shirts – It is suggested not to wear cotton shirts


but to wear breathable and light clothes.
FACILITIES • Shorts – they should be flexible, lightweight,
& breathable but tight enough so that it does not

• Leggings – comfortable and athletic but no too
tight so that you have steady circulation in
your legs. Good to protect from scratches.
THE FIELD

• Ultimate frisbee can be played on either grass

& long and 37 meters wide. The field of play is 64

zone is 37 meters long and 18 meters wide.
