A) Installation
1. Installed material are approved as per material submittal
2. Trench depth is as per specification & approved Drawing
3. Pipe bed compacted as per specification & approved Drawing
4. Size & location of Pipes, fittings as per approved Drawings
5. Check Supports installed as per approved drawings
6. Solvent cement are approved make and not expired
7. All Joints are installed correctly and secured
8. Check Level, alignment, straightness & vertically of piping
9. Piping slope is as per approved drawings/ Plumbing Code
10. Others
B) Water Tightness Test
1. Check Installation is approved
2. All joints are open and not covered during testing
3. Test medium (Water)
4. Piping vented for air trap in system
5. Check correct rating of Pressure Gauges
6. Test pump capacity and safe, stable test pump support
7. Check Validity of Calibration certificates.
8. Pressure Gauge are installed at visible location.
9. Check Pressure Gauges are calibrated
10. Test Pressure 1.5 times of system working pressure or minimum 8 Bar
11. Test Period 2 Hours
12. No leak found during testing from all joints, pipes & fittings
13. Barricade /Safety Warning, sign board placed During test
14. Piping backfilled & compacted as per specification
15. Others
C) Post Testing Activities
1. Pipes backfilled & compacted as per specification
2. Concrete encasement under roadway crossing
3. Warning tape for underground installed as per specification
4. Others
