Hi my name is Sean Spencer and this is my unit 10 pitch to my target audience about

what I want to do in my work this year.

Slide One

Hello, everybody and welcome to my Unit 10 pitch presentation where I will be presenting
my work that I will be doing, which will be a sports music radio show. I will be doing a Rugby
League radio show where I will be talking about what I think needs to change in Rugby
League, while also asking other Rugby fans what they think needs to be changed in the
sport. I will also be adding music into my radio show, which is associated with Rugby
League.

Slide Two

The initial ideas we were given at the start of the unit, were as follows on screen. (talk about
the subjects.) I chose to do the sports music radio show because that is an area that I am
most confident with. I can also add it to my portfolio because I would like to be a sports
journalist growing up, and it will make me stand out from the rest of the employers.

Slide Three

In this slide, I was looking at my secondary research to get an idea of what type of things I
should be adding on my unit to make my product the best that it can be, and to also have a
good knowledge on the things that I will be doing. The secondary research that I went out to
look for consisted of trying to find target audience and how many people listen to sport radio
shows. The main sporting radio station is talkSPORT with most of the people listening to
them on the way to work, and they love the special guests. People often listen to Radio
shows on the way to work in the car, or on their phone.

Slide Four

On this, this is the primary research stage where I was analaysing products, and making an
in depth questionnaire to get a grips of the target audience and understanding what to do
before moving onto the planning. In the primary research, I conducted a series of thing that
will help me in the long run before I moved to my planning. The research has helped me to
understand what my target audience wants to see in my radio show, and helped me to plan
out my planning stages.
