The two maps of the center of the town, Islip, present about the city currently

and in the future.

According to the current map, there is an open-plan road. However,
there is only one road that connects all the roads—the Main Road. Shops are
located on both the north and south sides of the Main Road. In the south area,
there are some housing, a park on the east side of the housing, and a school
on the west side of the housing.
The development map shows that all the roads will be connected in a
loop, forming a dual carriageway. However, the Main Road will be designated
for pedestrians. The shops on the north side will be expanded to include
various facilities such as a car park, shopping center, bus station, and even new
residential areas. On the other hand, the shops on the south side will remain
as they are, but a new housing development will be built in front of the park,
causing the park area to become smaller than it is today.
The development plan aims to renew the town fundamentally, rather
than expanding its area. Nevertheless, there will be more dwellings than
before in this plan, while the number of shops will decline, and the road will
become a dual carriageway.
