How do you plan to implement this lesson and integrate the technology? Check all that apply:

✔️theTeacher-led: There is no student voice and choice in the activities. Students are guided by
teacher's direction and expectations. Learning activities are assigned to the student and
mostly practice based.

☐ Student-Led: Students are given voice and choice in the activities. They may select the topic of
learning and/or determine the tool they will use to meet the learning goal. The teacher
facilitates the learning as the students direct their own learning processes.

☐ Problem-based and/or Publishable: Students are solving problems and completing projects to
demonstrate their learning. Additionally, the projects can be shared outside of the classroom.
(Note: This objective could be reached by displaying the project on the school’s morning
newscast, posting the project to the classroom blog, presenting it to another class, or publishing
it via an outside source.)

Lesson idea implementation: Students will read "We Are in a Book," and then the class will debate
the story's main points. When choosing certain images and details to depict characters, the
environment, and events, the teacher will offer guidance. After that, each student will utilize
Flipgrid to make a little video presentation using the selected details. Students will be able to watch
and comment on each other's videos, and the teacher will offer criticism on the presenting style
and substance.

Managing student learning: By using Flipgrid, students may actively participate in knowledge
sharing and discussion, transforming them from passive to active social learners. Establishing
time limitations for students to create videos can help them stay on track, and encouraging
them to watch and comment on one other's work will promote a collaborative environment.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Reflection: Students will be able to demonstrate their
comprehension through a video presentation, which will cover the UDL concept of Multiple Means
of Representation. This gives pupils a range of options for expressing their knowledge, which
complements the UDL framework's Representation component.

Reflection: Because it combines technology, literature, and creative expression, I think this
exercise will improve students' learning. I'm interested to observe how students utilize Flipgrid
to interact with one another's viewpoints and share their ideas. Their comprehension of the
tale parts will be strengthened, and their communication skills will be enhanced, by the
interactive and multimedia character of the lesson.
