I: Assalamualaikum, hello miss let me introduce my self, my name is ni’mah and this is my
friend dimas. Well we get some task from our collage, the task about the experience about the
pain. And we decide to choose pain during childbirth. So, we wants ask you some question about
the experience labor that you ever had before, can you help us?
S: yes sure
I: can you introduce your self first miss?
S: my name is Novi Kartika Dewi, I’m a housewife with two children, my first child is 12 y.o and
my second child is 8 y.o
I: boy or girl miss?
S: the first one is girl and the second is boy
I: woahh you’re already have a couple. Well if I will ask you about the labor experience that you
had a few years ago, can you still remember it?
S: insyaallah I remember it
I: you got a normal labor or wih the surgery?
S: alhamdulillah i had a normal labor from the both
I: if you have to compare about the both labor that you had, which one that gave you so much
pain?
S: the first one of course. Because I never had any experience about pregnant and giving a
childbirth, when the pain is came to me, I just thought about the surgery if I cant handle the pain
anymore. But alhamdulillah I can handle it and had a normal labor
I: when did you start to feel the pain?
S: when I got a first constractions, I got a first constraction on 4 a.m, but the pain didn’t come
continuously, it just came when I got the constractions. But then the constractions more frequent
and so did the pain
I: so how long you feels the pain?
S: when I got the first constractions until the baby came out of course, the baby came out about
14 p.m, so I almost had pain in half a day
I: can you describe about the pain you had that time?
S: its really hurts, my back feels like its being pulled something. And then my stomach feels
cramping like I want to defecate, so I was so confuse that time I want to give birth or defecate
I: did you felt the pain just in your back or?
S: I felt it on all my body especially on my upper back till the lower and my stomach
I: if I have the numeric scale 1 untill 10, you score was?
S: of course 10
I: 10 from the first time you got the pain?
S: no, the first contractions I think it was 3, and then when the labor is getting closer the pain is
increasing too, i said 10 out of 10 when the baby would came out
I: but your pain was gone when you have seen your baby, isn’t right?
S: yes that’s right
I: okay miss novi thank you for sharing your great experience, I hope you will always happy with
your children. Glad to have you in this task. Thank you very much
S: its okay, glad if you had done with your task. See you
