MUNICIPAL EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 43

AN EXECUTIVE ORDER SUSPENDING ALL CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS IN PUBLIC

SCHOOLS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TBOLI ON NOVEMBER 8, 2023.

WHEREAS, the 1987 Philippine Constitution, ordains the State to uphold

the rights of the people to life, health, safety and property and to promote their
general welfare at all times, especially during disaster and calamities;

WHEREAS, in adherence thereto, the 1991 Local Government Code of the

Philippines authorizes all local government units to enact laws and policies for
the promotion of the general welfare of the people in their territorial jurisdiction;

WHEREAS, to ensure public safety due to heavy rains caused by Easterlies

affecting Municipality of Tboli and the rest of South Cotabato, all classes in all
levels in public schools are hereby suspended following the moderate to strong
rainfall in the said Municipality.

NOW THEREFORE, I, KEO DAYLE T. TUAN, Local Chief Executive of the

Municipality of Tboli, South Cotabato, by virtue of the powers vested in me by
law, do hereby order the suspension of all classes in all levels in public schools
in the Municipality of Tboli on November 8, 2023.

Further, all Public Schools are advised to shift to modular classes while
work from home arrangement shall be implemented to all teaching and
nonteaching staffs and personnel. Suspension of classes in all private schools in
the Municipality will be left to the discretion of each respective school.
