1.“Should parents limit their teenage children’s use of Internet?

In the digital age, the question of whether parents should limit their teenage
children's internet use is a contentious one. While teens’ overuse of the Internet
causes certain drawbacks, I believe that strict limitations are not the most
effective solution.
First, I think by limiting the use of the Internet, parents can also limit what teens
can benefit from it. The Internet offers teenagers the opportunities to learn
necessary skills and valuable knowledge. For example, they can spend hours using
the Internet to study in an online English course or play an educational game.
In addition, when teenagers’ use of the Internet is strictly controlled by their
parents, the gap between parents and their children may become wider.
Teenagers may think their parents are not fair to them, and they even refuse to
talk to their parents. This may make them upset because they think parents don’t
respect them.
In conclusion, I believe that a balance between parental guidance and allowing
teenagers to responsibly use the Internet is essential, ensuring both safety and
the opportunities for learning and social growth in the digital age.
2.Write an opinion essay about why living with your extended family or nuclear
family is better.
Typically, there are two types of family such as extended family and nuclear
family. Personally, I’m in favor of the nuclear family for the following reasons.
Firstly, living in a nuclear family is more comfortable than an extended family
because we don’t have to face a wide generation gap. Therefore, family members
have better mutual understanding and children have more opportunities to
communicate freely with their parents as well. Children can feel free to share
thoughts and feelings.
In addition, if children live in a nuclear family, they will have more privacy and
they can make their own decisions. Children also learn necessary skills when their
parents are not home such as cooking, cleaning the house,.. as well as how to
take care of the younger siblings. Therefore, they become more independent and
responsible for the things they do.
In conclusion, there may be certain drawbacks of living in a nuclear family, but I
strongly believe that it is the better choice.
Question 3: “ Why living with your extended family or nuclear family
is better.”
In today’s world, many people tend to live in nuclear families rather
than in extended ones. In my opinion, I firmly believe that living in an
extended family is the better choice owing to the following reasons.
Fist of all, living in an extended family means that there are members
who are always ready to help you in any situation. For instance, when
you come down with flu, the others can provide you with love and
wonderful care for you. Additionally, helping family members
enhances the relationship between them, leading to a better
understanding of each other.
Last but not least, children who live in an extended family can be
more responsible and independent. Sharing household chores or taking
care of others offer valuable opportunities for children to improve
problem-solving skills and develop good qualities such as sympathy and
meticulousness.
In short, while many people prefer living in a nuclear family because of
its benefits, I strongly believe that living in a large family is a better
choice.
