I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
 Compose sentences using unlocked words during story reading in
meaningful contexts
II. Subject Matter
Lesson/Topic : Composing sentences using unlocked words
during story reading in meaningful contexts
Materials Needed : sentence frame, word strips

III. Procedure
A. Review/ Preparatory Activity/ Motivation
- The pupils will be asked to write the correct & arranged jumbled
letters on the space provided.(Diskobrehi-SLM2 - W3).
- The teacher will check with the class the answers of their work.
B. Presentation and Discussion of the Lesson
- The teacher will discuss the concepts. (Kat-oni)
- The pupils will be asked to answer the activity. (Buhata- LAS W3,
D1)
C. Generalization:
- Based on the presentation/discussion and application, the learners
can compose sentences using the unlocked words in a sentence.
D. Application
- The learners will be asked to fill in the blank with the correct word
from the jumbled letters. (Pagsusi)

- The pupils will be asked to sing the song “Akong Ngipon” and
answers the questions (Diskobrehi – SLM W3)

B. Presentation and Discussion of the Lesson


- Teacher will discuss on the concepts (Konsepto - LAS W3- D2 ).
- The teacher will show the different examples of consonant blends
and digraphs (Pananglitan – LAS W3- D2)
C. Generalization:
- Based on the presentation/discussion and application, the learners
can now can read words with consonants blends and digraphs.
D. Application
- The learners will be asked to answer by read and understand the
sentences then, underline the word with clusters. (Pagsusi)
