Materials Needed : USB, print out of abbreviations and activities
 Story: Panahon sa Recess

III. Procedure
A. Review/ Preparatory Activity/ Motivation
- The learners will be asked to read the paragraph and answer
(Balik-lantaw) found on page 4

B. Presentation and Discussion of the Lesson


- The learners read the dialogue and answer the questions based on
the story found in Diskobrehe found on page 4-5

- Teacher will discuss recognizing common abbreviation and gives


further examples found in Kat-oni page 5-6

C. Generalization:
- Based on the presentation/discussion and application, the learners
can now give the main idea of the story/poem and can give exact
examples.
D. Application
- The learners will be asked to answer. (Buhata) found on page 7

E. Enrichment
- Teacher will instruct the pupils to do the activities found in Pagsusi
page 8

IV. Assessment /Performance Assessment (once every 2 weeks)


- No Assessment and Performance task to be given on this day.

V. Agreement/ Assignment (to be given every Monday)

- Answer questions found in Dugang Buluhaton on page 8-9.

- The learners will be asked to read the story “ Ang Kwarta sa
Basura”. And answer (Buhata) found on page 14-16
