Assessment
Students are assessed by the presentation for the fluency development part. In the whole class, students are evaluated
by their participation in the class activity. Students will be given the homework – recording the video about their
buying process of SEPTA key. The videos will be shared in the next class.

Rationale
In the beginning of this semester, we have asked students what topics they would like to learn. They chose
the transportation, household and family. Hence, I decided to design this class for students since the SEPTA
key is crucial to ride the public transportation. Students might need to know the words in the ticket selling
machine, and how to pay for the ticket. The other thing is how they can ask for help if they do not know how
to buy the ticket.
