Motorcycle the leading transportation in the Philippines

Introduction

Nowadays many Filipinos use motorcycle for their transportation because it easy to use and can easily fit
into tight spaces.

Many Filipinos choose to buy a motorcycle over a car because it is cheaper. The Philippines is a
wonderful destination but getting around can be challenging. Motorcycles have now become an
important part of many Filipinos’ lives. Many commuters prefer to ride a motorbike rather than brave
the trains, jeeps, and other public utility vehicles offered. Aside from that, motorbikes are utilized for
recreation, touring, and sports.

Main Body

Nowadays one of the problems of our country is the heavy traffic in Metro Manila. That’s why many
travelers are affected. That’s why many people are obsessed with using motorcycles as the main means
of transportation. Because of this you can get to your destination quickly because it can easily get
through heavy traffic. According to the data created, many people now own motorcycles and according
to the LTO data, more motorcycles are registered compared to cars. That’s why motorcycles are now the
leading mode of transportation.

Conclusion

Because of the number of motorcycles now on our roads, it is also now the leader when it comes to the
number of accidents that happen on our roads. Because of these events there is a group of activists
where they want to ban motorcycles in the country. But many objected to this and many still enjoy the
motorcycle as the main form of transportation.
