To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing this character reference on behalf of Haley Bartlett. I have had the privilege of
teaching Haley throughout the accelerated Early Childhood Education Diploma at St. Clair College. In the
short time I have known Haley I have learned she is hardworking, passionate, professional, and has a
natural ability to connect with all those around her. Haley displays developing leadership qualities that
are strong, humble, and appreciated amongst her peers and faculty.

Haley has proven to be dependable, an engaged learner, and a consistent contributor to the
classroom environment. Haley is a calming presence that brings connection and comfort to her peers.
Specifically, there is one peer that has relied on Haley for a little extra emotional support. Haley
consistently provides that support without drawing attention to herself. The faculty have all noticed this
remarkable quality in Haley. She closely observes the environment she is in and responds in ways that
are non-judgmental and safe to those around her.

I have no doubt that Haley will be a thoughtful and knowledgeable educator. I think Haley is still
discovering how much impact she has on people and that she is in fact a skilled leader. I was thrilled to
hear that Haley would be applying to this program and fully support this for her. She would be an asset
to any professional discussion and has the skills and passion to make a difference in the field of
education.
