SECTION I: PROJECT RELEVANCE AND NEED

The lack of maintenance for the physical facilities at Batan National High School occurred during
successive administrations because they faced challenges in meeting the requirements for MOOE
release. Consequently, crucial aspects such as classroom buildings, grounds, restrooms, lighting,
ventilation, and other supporting facilities were not prioritized due to the absence of MOOE
funding. Two Senior High School classrooms were completely destroyed by the typhoon, while two
classrooms in Junior High School sustained partial damage. The remaining classrooms lack
lighting and ventilation, require window repairs, and need attention in terms of comfort rooms
and other auxiliary facilities. There is a pressing need for immediate maintenance to restore the
school's aesthetic appeal, as stakeholders have been awaiting these improvements for a
considerable period. In light of this, the School Planning Team (SPT) has recognized physical
facilities as a Priority Improvement Area in the School Improvement Plan (SIP). The Project Team
suggests implementing the PROJECT 3R’s to restore the physical facilities of BNHS, revitalizing
the school environment and creating a conducive learning atmosphere for both educators and
students, as well as stakeholders.

SECTION 2. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The "Project 3R's" is an initiative led by the School Head, Physical Facilities Coordinator of Batan
National High School, SSLG, and SPTA Officer. It involves the minor repair of classroom elements
such as windows, doors, ceilings, and comfort rooms. Additionally, the project aims to provide
physical ancillary facilities like water facilities, bulletin boards, a school clinic, faculty room,
concrete pathways, lights, ventilations, and more. The gradual implementation of this project is
intended to enhance the classrooms and other facilities, creating a conducive learning
environment for both students and teachers.
SECTION 3. OBJECTIVES
To provide an optimal learning environment for students and ensuring user-friendly work
conditions for teachers.

SECTION 4. EXPECTED RESULTS

After the project:
