PROJECT ACTIVITY PROPOSAL

I. PROJECT TITLE: PROJECT LINYA (Lines for Improved Navigation, Yielding Harmony and
Adherence to school rules and regulations) through National Drug Education Program
(NDEP)
II. Proponent: National Drug Education Program and Barkada Kontra Droga
III. Time Frame: November 21, 2023 – End of School Year
IV. Target Beneficiaries: Grade 7- 10 JHS students
V. Rationale
VI. The Project LINYA (Lines for Improved Navigation, Yielding Harmony and Adherence to
school rules and regulations) through National Drug Education Program (NDEP) is a proposal
aimed at improving safety and security in our school campus through the help of Barkada
Kontra Droga organization. The project’s primarily objective is to establish a proactive
approach to campus security by implementing a system that enhances student safety and
awareness.
VII. Project Goals and Objectives:

1. To improve the overall security and safety of campus premises of Justice Cecilia Muñoz
Palma High School.
2. To prevent unauthorized access and identify potential threats effectively.
3. Promote a positive learning experience: Foster a harmonious and productive learning
atmosphere for students and staff of Justice Cecilia Muñoz Palma High School.
4. To raise awareness and encourage students to actively participate in the prevention of
substance/ drug abuse.
5. To create a supportive network of peers to help individuals facing substance/drug related
issues.
VIII. Implementation Plan:
a. Formation of Barkada Kontra Droga Peace and Order Committee through National Drug
Education Program.
 Assigned the committee in Peace and Order to collaborate with the SSLG for the assigned
building and time of deployment during the morning and afternoon classes; also, on special
events where there are crowded population at the hallway, stairs, and school grounds.
 Provide training and resources on drug prevention, communication, and conflict resolution.
b. Awareness Campaign:
 Organize workshops, seminars, and assemblies on substance/drug prevention.
 Create educational materials (posters, brochures, and videos)
c. Peer Support:
 Encourage Barkada Kontra Droga to offer support and guidance to peers facing
substance/drug related issues.
 Establish a confidential reporting system for students to share concerns.
d. Collaboration with Local Authorities
 Partner with local law enforcement and drug rehabilitation centers for expert guidance and
support.
e. Monitoring and Evaluation
 Regularly assess the program’s effectiveness through surveys, feedback, and case studies.
 Use the data collected to make improvement and adjustments as needed.
f. Timeline
 Initiation of the program and formation of Project LINYA: 1-2 months
 Awareness campaigns and workshops: Month 2-3 months
 Ongoing peer support and collaboration with local authorities: Throughout the school year
 Continuous monitoring and evaluation: Ongoing
g. Budget:
 The budget will depend on the scale and resources available. It may include funds for
materials, training, events, and collaborations.
h. Expected Outcomes:
 Increased awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.
 Reduced drug-related incidents within the school community.
 A supportive and united school community.
i. Conclusion:
 Promoting peace and order through Barkada Kontra Droga is for the well-being of the school
and community. By engaging students in the prevention of drug abuse, we can create a safer
and more nurturing learning environment.
