Summary of Role: To serve as the point of contact for clients and be expected to liaise between

Duties and Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Certificate
• ICAM Certificate (Beneficial but required)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain planning and measurement (Q.C.) systems and monitor compliance.
• Schedule maintenance on the crushing plant.
• Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12.
• Valid driver’s license.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• A recognised Supervisory / Leadership Programme Certificate or studying towards one.
• HIRA Certificate, MHSA Certificate, Legal Liability Certificate, ICAM Certificate.
• Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Certificate.

Summary of the role: To assemble, maintain and repair machinery and vehicles. You will be
responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of machines, engines and mechanical systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
• Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality
issues.
• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems.
• Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components.
• Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery.
• Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle
users.
• Undertake other duties as assigned (e.g. repair of hydraulic systems, painting vehicles etc.).
• Keep logs of work and report on issues.
Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12.


• Red seal certificate for a minimum of 2 years.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position.

Summary of the role: Responsible for assembling, erection, and repair of boilers, tanks, vats, and
pressure vessels, in field: Conveys tools, equipment, and parts to work area by hand or using hand
trucks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Bolt or arc-weld structures and parts together, using wrenches and welding equipment.
• Examine structures and equipment to locate defects such as leaks, weak spots, and defective
sections so that they can be repaired.
• Inspect assembled structures and individual components, such as channels, I-beams, welding
and auxiliary mechanisms, to locate any defects.
• Lay out plate, sheet steel, or other heavy metal, and locate and mark bending and cutting lines,
using protractors, compasses, and drawing instruments or templates.
• Locate and mark reference points for columns or plates on structure foundations, following
blueprints and using straightedges, squares, transits, and measuring instruments.
• Position, align, and secure structural parts and related assemblies to frames following blueprints.
• Repair or replace defective structural parts, such as channel sections and I-beams, using torches,
jacks, caulking hammers, power saws, threading dies, welding equipment, and metalworking
machinery.
• Shape seams, joints, and irregular edges of structure sections and structural parts in order to
attain specified fit of parts, using cutting torches, hammers, files, and metalworking machines.
• Straighten or reshape bent structure plates and equipment parts, using hammers, jacks, and
torches.
• Study blueprints to determine locations, relationships, and dimensions of parts.
• Assemble large structures in an on-site fabrication shop prior to installation, in order to ensure
proper fit.
• Attach rigging, and signal crane or hoist operators to lift heavy frame and plate sections and other
parts into place.
• Shape and fabricate parts, such as stacks, uptakes, and chutes, in order to adapt structures and
designs to premises, using heavy-metalworking machines such as brakes, rolls, and drill presses.
• Ensure all required jobs are collected and there is a work order for every job where job cards
must be completed before the end of a shift.
• Manufacture chutes and replace ware liners on chutes.
• Replace bucket-T and half arrows on excavators and loaders.
• Replace general ware parts.
• Replace crusher liners – for cone and jaw crushers.

Summary of Role: To operate machines to produce parts or tools by turning, boring, milling, planning,
shaping, slotting, grinding or drilling metal stock or components. Fit and assemble metal parts, tools or
sub-assemblies, including welding or brazing parts. Cut, thread, bend and install hydraulic and pneumatic
pipes and lines.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Fits, assembles, grinds and shapes metal parts and sub-assemblies to fabricate production
machines and other equipment.
• Setting one or more types of machine tool for production of metal articles in standardized series.
• Operating and monitoring metalworking machines, such as lathes, milling, and planning, boring,
drilling, grinding or honing machines, including multi-purpose numerically controlled metalworking
machines.
• Performing similar tasks when machining plastics and other metal substitutes.
• Observing machine operations to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting
machines as necessary.
• Inspecting work pieces for defects and measuring work pieces to determine accuracy of machine
operation, using rules, templates, or other measuring instruments.
• Changing worn machine accessories, such as cutting tools and brushes, using hand tools.
• Perform mathematical calculations to ensure a high accuracy according to blueprints/plans to
measure material for production.
• Monitor machinery repair faults, ensure effective maintenance components on conveyors, gear
boxes, excavators and loader pins of machines and related parts to uphold productivity.
• Run general diagnostic and rectification process of faults in mechanical, electrical and hydraulics
systems. Oversee and be involved in maintenance activities in the maintenance of equipment
and machinery i.e bearings, bucket pins, rollers, v-belts, conveyor belts.
• Daily housekeeping in site.
• Legal MHSA inspections on Plant.
• In charge of testing and servicing of equipment and machinery.
• Ensure all required jobs are collected and there is a work order for every job where job cards
must be completed before the end of a shift.
• Performs routine and scheduled maintenance services.
• Ensure oil samples are filled in correctly and submitted to planning department after service has
been completed.
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 10.
• Fitter Trade Test (Red Seal).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Fitter on a mobile crusher and screening plant.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing to work overtime as and when required.

Summary of Role: Responsible for cleaning and general maintenance of the site, loading and delivering

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Perform tasks involving physical labour, including, building, plumbing, heavy construction,
excavations and demolition projects.
• Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small
mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment and a variety of other equipment and
instruments.
• Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect
scaffolding, clean up rabble and debris and remove lead and other hazardous waste materials.
• Load and off load material, equipment and any other goods relevant to production on site.
• Wash and clean the interior and exterior of company vehicles on site.
• Be familiar with custodial procedures including, equipment, proper usage of chemicals and proper
personal protective equipment, as applicable.
• Assist other craft workers/artisans/supervisors/managers/cleaners.

• Perform other relevant duties that may arise from the site.
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 10.
• Previous experience working in a mining environment will be an advantage.

Summary of the role: The Admin Clerk is responsible for assisting the site with all administrative duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure that the office is clean and maintained in an orderly manner.
• Ensure all documents required by other staff members are available for them to perform their
duties such as capture all data into relevant programs on computer and then file documents.
• Filing of Job cards, STC’s, SIS’s, delivery notes, requisitions, stock take sheets.
• Submit all electronic site info in the correct format to head office timeously.

weekly.
• Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals by answering questions,

timesheets and medical reports to head office.
• Operate office equipment, such as photocopiers, scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail

• Complete work schedules, manage calendars and arrange appointments.

Duties and Responsibilities


• Dust/polish all surfaces including equipment.
• Clean Kitchen & Toilets.
• Wipe all surfaces.
• Sweep and mop the floors.
• Clean sinks, taps, draining board and basins.
• Clean each toilet.
• Brush and mop internal entrance stairs and first floor stairways.
• Cleaning stock level maintenance.
• Notify administration when materials are running low so that they can be ordered centrally.
• Leave any dirty dusters etc for washing near the sink.
• Empty all bins.

Requirements
• Minimum Grade 10.

• Report all incidents and accidents, according to the established procedure, to the Client’s
Safety Representative, the Site Manager, and the Company Safety Manager.
• Compile Flash Reports for all incidents and accidents, and submit these to the Client’s Safety
Representative, the Site Manager, and the Company Safety Manager.
• Enter incident and accident data into the Client’s Incident Management System.

• With the assistance of an investigation team, investigate incidents and accidents fully,
compile an investigation report with corrective actions, and distribute this to the required
persons as per the established procedure. Ensure that the corrective actions are
implemented to prevent similar incidents in the future.
• Co-ordinate all required training of personnel in HSE aspects.
• Duties according to regulation 2.19.1 of the minerals act, act 50 of 1991.

Requirements:
• COMSOC 1 & 2, SAMTRAC or equivalent mining qualification.
• Incident Investigation (ICAM).
• Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA).
• Legal Liability, Fire Fighting, First Aid.
• 3 Years’ experience as a Safety Officer in the mining industry.
• Advanced knowledge of the MHSA 29 of 1996.
• Relevant Safety Management Qualification.
• Strong mechanical and technical knowledge.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Own transportation.
