Every chairman, distinguished guest, ladies and gentlemen, good morning!

各位委員、長官，以及各位國內外學者專家，大家早！

因為 Now we have the service of interpreting 今天我們有即時有口翻譯服務，。

There are many professional interpreters in Taiwan also in NTNU.臺灣有許多優秀的專
業翻譯者人才，師大也培育訓練了許多翻譯人才，//目前有從師大翻譯研究所我
們的畢業的傑出學生，正在總統府(Presidential Office)服務 We have the excellent
students who were graduated from NTNU interpreting graduate school serves in
Presidential Office.//。為了證明我國 We have good interpreters, so I won’t read my
scripts to prove their translating ability.我們翻譯專業人才員的素質優良都很好，所
以我就不照著準備好的演講稿來念稿，希望他們一定可以翻譯得很好。

We all know by the influence of information technology and green power 大家都知道，
在資科和綠能科技的影響下, the world has changed a lot. So we have to keep our
competitiveness to face the challenge. We have to do it by basic education, NTNU has
made lots of efforts on it. 12-year compulsory education is the main policy, which can
cultivate the literacy. In the future we want to reinforce the education of team building,
communication ability and science research for them.，世界已經有很大的變化， 所
以未來我們要有競爭力，尤其國家競爭力，會因為全球的變革，尤其在資訊
科技和綠能科技的發展帶動下，未來的發展將會更為不同才能因應這個挑戰。
為了要擁有並確保未來的競爭力，就必須我們要從中小學基礎教育做起，師
大一直都在為此努力和付出。臺灣要推動十二年國教(12-year compulsory
education)，實是為重要政策變革，期盼可藉此優良政策，好好可以培養國民
素養。然而，未來的國民素養教育，不能再以基礎知識為主，而應該是以我
們要加強團隊能力、溝通能力、科學探究能力等來著手的教育，必能有助於
未來公務人力的養成可以培養未來的人才。

Taiwanese people are high-qualified, we want to enhance the abilities of the students, so
they would be more competitive and make Taiwan more competitive. Here hope to
listen to everyone’s opinion to let us know how to cultivate international talents, so
they will become the professionals in the international arena.
我們必須承認，在臺灣幅員不大，但台灣人民的素質很高的條件下，//我們要提
升學生能力，他們為使國家更才有競爭力，在國際變化更為擴大，國際議
題深深影響臺灣才有競爭力發展的今天，如何提升學生學習力以符合世界
潮流，已經是當前重要課題。在此希望聆聽獲得參與人士與不同國家的大
家的經驗意見，以及個領域的學者專家的協助，朝更良好的國家讓我們知
道如何培養國際人才發展政策發向邁進，以培養更符合國際潮流的專業人
才。They will become the professionals in the international areana.

NTNU as an international university, has six thousand international students, all of them
can speak Mandarin, that is results from a good Chinese learning center. If anyone of
you are interested to learn Chinese in Taiwan, welcome here to learn something. 師大
身為一所國際化大學，擁有將近六千多位的國際學生，我們所有的國際學生
都會講中文，這是因為有著良好的國語中心，在座對在臺灣學習中文有興趣
的話，也相當歡迎來師大學習。
